We are looking for an AI Engineer who can design, build, and optimize AI-driven web solutions. This role will focus on developing intelligent features within our platforms, integrating AI models with scalable backend systems, and collaborating closely with our designers, developers, and automation teams to deliver cutting-edge digital experiences.
Job Summary
We’re looking for a skilled AI Engineer (Ruby on Rails + Modern Web Development) to help design, build, and optimize intelligent, scalable web applications. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Ruby on Rails, modern front-end frameworks, and integrating AI tools or APIs into production-ready systems.
This role is perfect for someone who loves building high-performance web solutions, experimenting with AI-driven functionality, and bringing innovative, user-focused products to life.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain high-quality web applications using Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
• Work closely with PostgreSQL and Supabase to design and manage data-driven systems.
• Leverage AI tools (Codex, Claude Code, etc.) to accelerate coding, testing, and problem-solving while maintaining strong engineering discipline.
• Collaborate in real time with the U.S. team during 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Central Time.
• Implement APIs, background jobs, and integrations efficiently.
• Participate in code reviews, refactoring, and performance optimization with a focus on rapid iteration and continuous improvement.
• Deliver clean, well-documented code that can scale quickly.
What We're Looking For
• Experience: 1–4 years of experience in software or web development (Ruby on Rails preferred).
Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of Ruby, Rails, and MVC architecture.
• Solid frontend experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and responsive layouts.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and experience working with Supabase or similar tools.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development environments (Codex, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, etc.) or a strong willingness to adopt them.
• Comfort using Git, GitHub, and standard CI/CD workflows.
Bonus Skills:
• Experience with React, Vue, or Tailwind CSS.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks like RSpec or Minitest.
• Experience deploying on platforms like Render, Fly.io, or Heroku.
